We drove 492 miles today, stopping at Max London’s in Saratoga Springs, NY, for a delicious lunch and then pushing on to our campground at Evangola State Park, on Lake Eire, about 30 miles west of Buffalo.  Our campsite was right on the lake.  From our picnic table, we could see huge ships moving along the horizon and we were treated to a beautiful sunset on the water.  A gorgeous campground that gets an “A” for scenery and cleanliness!  Dinner was simple, white chicken chili then Joni made ahead of time so we only had to heat it up.
